SiteCockpit is a platform for digital accessibility developed in Germany, supporting companies, authorities, and organizations in implementing legal requirements, particularly the BFSG. The goal is to make digital offerings legally compliant, user-friendly, and inclusive.
Our modules and services are based on the requirements of WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) at conformance levels A, AA, and AAA, as well as the harmonized standard EN 301 549.

Conformance status
The specific technical measures are based on WCAG 2.2 Level A, AA.

The verification of compliance was based on a self-assessment (the content was assessed by an internal staff member or the content developer) carried out on 11 August 2025.
The assessment was carried out in accordance with legal requirements and global standards (EN 301 549, WCAG 2.2 Level A, AA).

Persons with disabilities were involved in the evaluation.

Status: partially conformant – only parts of the content are conformant.

Comments on the stated conformance
We provide our services and information on our website in line with § 2 BFSG and the associated ordinance (BFSGV). We are committed to making our websites and mobile applications accessible – in accordance with the requirements of the German Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BGG) and the BFSG for the implementation of the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Our website has been reviewed according to the conformance criteria described below and optimized for barrier-reduced or accessible use.

Tools for accessibility
The company uses easyMonitoring from Site Cockpit GmbH (www.sitecockpit.com) to analyze and monitor the accessibility of the website for the most important subpages. Automatic correction of errors within the scope of BFSG requirements does not take place.
The company uses easyVision to optimize display options such as contrast, reading modes, or text size. The widget is loaded via JavaScript and may not load if blockers are used.

Known barriers
Our website largely meets the applicable requirements, but the following barriers are known:

  • Consent Management Platform (Usercentrics): ARIA roles not correctly nested (WCAG 1.3.1), multiple ID usage in ARIA references (WCAG 4.1.2), missing accessible link texts (WCAG 2.4.4, 4.1.2), text and link color contrast below AAA standard (WCAG 1.4.6), link identification solely by color (WCAG 1.4.1)
  • Color contrasts: Some text/background combinations not AAA-compliant (e.g., “Terms & Conditions” and “Privacy Policy” links)
  • Form labels: Multiple assigned label elements (WCAG 3.3.2)
  • Interactive elements: Insufficient visual distinction of links in running text (WCAG 1.4.1)
